Slice the vegetables

Starting with the potatoes, slice them about 1/2cm thick. When sliced, but them into the bowl of water. Cut the onions in half, then slice each half into segments. Put to one side.

Parboil the potatoes

Place the potatoes in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for about 3-5 minutes until just tender. Strain and allow to cool.

Heat the frying pan on a high heat and add about 2 tablespoons of oil. Brown the onions slowly. If browning too fast, reduce the heat. Stir the onions occasionally and when brown, remove from the pan.

Put the grill pan on a high heat and leave it for at least 5 minutes.

Make the sauce

Put the mustard, honey, soy sauce, water and oil into a bowl and mix well.

Season the potatoes

Drizzle a little oil over the potatoes, then season generously with salt, pepper and the parsley. Stir together.

Place the potatoes on the grill pan and cook for about 1 minute. Turn them over and grill for another minute on the other side, then remove from the pan.

Place the sausages in the grill pan and grill them for about 7-10 minutes. Turn them occasionally to make sure they are grilled evenly. When they are done, remove them from the pan.

Arrange a few slices of potato on the plate, top with two to three sausages and finally the onion. Drizzle the sauce around the plate, garnish with parsley leaves and serve.
