Step 2: Spider Cupcakes

I’m now going to show you how to make a spider cupcake. I’ve colored some butter cream with green coloring. Butter cream can be made by combining icing sugar, butter and a bit of milk, and I’ve actually flavoured this butter cream vanilla, and these cupcakes would be great for Halloween which is why I’ve actually decided to use a green colored icing for the base. So, just pop that on your cupcake. Put as much or as little as you like basically, just make sure that all of your cupcakes are covered and you can cover your cupcake with icing using a spatula or bread knife as I’m doing or you can pipe the icing on using an icing cone if you like to. So, you actually pop your cupcake down and if you can take some galaxy mint strolls or any other chocolate sweets, just put these on the middle of your cupcake to give your spider a body and then using some black icing, we need to give your spider some legs. So, just do some legs coming out, like so. Do the same on the other side. It’s a quite scary looking fellow so be sure to go down well at your Halloween parties, and then we’ll give him some antennae, and what we’ll then do just to finish him off is give him some scary red eyes like so.
