- red sugar paste
- white sugar paste
Mix the red and white sugar paste together to create a marbled effect. Roll into a thick sausage shape and slice into equally sized sections.
Flatten out each section to form petals, keeping the pieces thinner at one end. Repeat depending on how many petals you would like.
Roll out a middle section with two pointed ends. Wrap and pinch each petal around this section, turning each time to cover the joins and bending the tops outwards.
When you have attached the number of petals you would like, cut the base off and place on top of your cupcakes.
