- rice vinegar
- soy sauce
- brown sugar
- tomato ketchup
Mix water and cornflour in a pan over a medium heat to create a thickening agent. Remove from the heat once the ingredients have fully incorporated.
Place rice vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar and tomato ketchup and whisk until all the sugar has been smoothed out and incorporated. Add the cornflour and water mixture.
Keep whisking and cook down for 4 to 5 minutes, to get rid of the moisture in the sauce. The cooking time is not as important as the consistency. Serve immediately with meat or vegetables.
