How To Make Tabouli
The tabouli is a traditional Lebanese dish containing bulgur wheat, tomatoes, olive oil and herbs. This recipe tutorial is presented by the chefs of The Main Ingredient, an event caterer near London.

Ingredients
- Parsley
- Mint
- Garlic
- Salt and Pepper
- 50 g Bulgur wheat
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 Lemons
- Tomatoes
- Spring Onion
- Ground Cinnamon
- Ground Allspice
Step 1: Bulgur Wheat
Cook the bulgur wheat in boiling water until soft. Strain, refresh with cold water to stop it cooking, and dry out.
Step 2: Prepare Other Ingredients
Finely chop some flat-leaf parsley and fresh mint. Crush a small clove of garlic. Mix the olive oil with the lemon juice. Finely chop the spring onion and tomatoes. Mix the allspice and cinnamon.
Step 3: Combine
Mix everything together in a bowl. Leave a while for the flavours to develop. Can be served with meze, flatbread or other dishes.
