Don't add oil, and instead of yellow lemon, use lime and you don't need to take away the seeds. This is called salsa bandera (flag sauce) because it has the color of the mexican flag: green, white and red. This salsa is great for fish tacos!

Yes it may not be traditional, but then nowhere does it claim to be, I think it was a very well presented dish thank you for going to the trouble of doing this for others to share.

this is actually a form of pico de gallo, which is a chunky version of salsa fresca. it's not appropriate to add oil. also, it's good to roast the jalapenos over an open flame and peel them before adding to the salsa. This will greatly improve the end product and make it more authentic.

Where is the jalapenos with seeds and cilantro! I make something very simallar with chopped fresh pinapple serve with chips. Allot of different tastes battling in your mouth, it has become a big hit at family gettogethers. ps I have never had any complaints from adding to much jalapenos.

this is more european and less mexican. to make more mexican don't use the olive oil; but use the juice of the tomato (plum/roma or regulr is up to you) after straining the tomato seeds. oh, and DO add the jalapeno seeds!
