How To Make Triple Chocolate Cookies
Impress your guests or have a naughty treat yourself and try making our super tasty chococolate cookies. This simple recipe shows you an easy way to make delicious triple chocolate cookies.
I'm going to show you how to make some really simple delicious triple chocolate cookies. We've got some dark chocolate, some white milk and dark chocolate pieces, and some cocoa powder, flour, sugar, butter, eggs, and then some bicarb and some salt. First thing I'm going to do is melt the chocolate in a bain marie over a saucepan of simmering water and then, we're going to get all our dry ingredients and sift them into a bowl. So, the flour, cocoa, bicarb and salt, all get passed through a sieve and we're going to put the sugar, the golden castor sugar and the butter into the mixer, and we're going to beat this until it's pale. Then we're going to add our eggs one at a time into the mix, making sure that each egg is incorporated before we add the next. Okay, so that's all ready to go. And we've got our chocolate, it's now fully melted and ready to use as well, and we've got our sifted dry ingredients in the bowl over here. And then, all we're going to do now is mix everything together until they're all completely incorporated. There we go. Now, I'm just going to chill that back until it gets a little bit harder so we can work with it. Okay, so our chocolate cookie dough is ready, cookie dough, and then I've got white chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate chips. I'm going to put those in and give them a stir. That's it. So, just allow the mix to cool down a little bit so that when you put the chocolate chips in, they don't immediately melt. So, the mix has now come to a sort of, more of a room temperature, and you can just mix your chocolate chips through. Okay, the next thing to do is to roll them into balls and put them on a baking tray, then they can go straight in the oven and they'll cook on 165 degrees for about twenty minutes. You can roll them into any size ball you want but allow a space around them so that when they cook, because they will spread out, and you can make little tiny cookies or you can make great big cookies, we'll make some medium sized ones today. I've got some icing sugar in a little shaker here. If you put this on your hands and when you pick up the mix to roll it, you won't get quite so gunked up on the hands, so just a little tip, just to make this process just a little less messy. It means you can get through the mix without having to go over to the sink every two minutes and wash your hands. Okay, so we've got a few different sizes there. Okay, our triple chocolate cookies are out of the oven and they're cooled down, so they're ready to eat now. The best way to eat a triple chocolate cookie is with a glass of ice cold milk. And that's how you make triple chocolate cookies.
