How To Make Tuna Carpaccio
- Serves:
- 4
- Preparation Time:
- 10 minutes
- Cooking Time:
- 10 minutes
- Total Time:
- 20 minutes
Step 1: You will need:
- ½ kg tuna loin
- 1 tomato, deseeded and diced
- 1 cucumber, finely diced
- 2 tbsp black olives, chopped
- 1 tbsp capers
- 60 ml olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp coriander, chopped
- 1 cutting board
- 1 knife
- 1 bowl
- 1 spoon
- 1 plate
Step 2: Make the dressing
Into a bowl, add the tomato, cucumber, black olives, capers, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.
Step 3: Slice, garnish, and serve
Cut the tuna into half a centimetre thin slices. As opposed to meat carpaccio, tuna carpaccio doesn't need to be sliced so thinly. And as always, cut across the grain.
Step 4: Serve
Place it onto a serving plate. Generously spoon the dressing over the tuna and serve.

Ever looked up the word "CARPACCIO" itself??? Seems NOT! Try to!..... Carpaccio stands for VERY T H I N L Y sliced food. So, this is NOT a carpaccio! Be kind enough to rename it accordingly.
very appealing
