How To Make Vegetable Curry

  • 150 g peas
  • 1 large carrot, chopped
  • 2 medium potatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 150 g tinned chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 green chilli, slit
  • 2 sunflower oil
  • salt
  • water


Heat a pan and add the sunflower oil. Add the chopped onions and cook until browned. Add the chopped garlic and ginger and cook for a couple of minutes. Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and green chili, slit along the side, not chopped. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook through.

Add the chopped vegetables and add salt to taste. Add enough water to cover the vegetables. Cover and simmer until the vegetables are tender and the water has dried out.
