How To Make White Slime

Right, now I'm going to show you how to make white slime. It's very simple. What we need here, we need some PVA glue, some water, you need something to stir it with; in this case, I'm using a lolly stick and we need some borax.

This is the borax powder as it comes, that's available at most chemists. But I'm going to mix that with some water to produce a borax solution. Very, very simple.

All we need to do, we're going to put equal parts of water and PVA glue together and give that a stir. It doesn't take long. You just need to make sure it all gets nice and mixed in.

Once that's there, we add our borax solution. Now, the polymers inside the PVA glue were all mixed around. They weren't joined up together and the Borax helps to join all of those polymers together to start to create long chains.

And as you can see, we're already starting to make our slime. You have to keep going for a little bit. Once it all gets mixed in, all of the liquid will have been absorbed into our slime and you will end up with something that you can touch, you can play with, and then you can keep as well just by keeping the air out.

Now, it'll just take a few minutes to do that. So, after you've been stirring for a few minutes, you'll notice that it starts to get to this kind of consistency, all of the liquid has been absorbed. Now, when you touch it, you'll see that nothing sticks to your finger and you know that it's ready.

As you can see here, you can get that out on your hands, and when you start to stretch it, you get these lovely long polymer chains. And there you are, you've made your white slime. .
