How To Make Yellow Slime

Okay, now I'm going to show you how to make yellow slime. So, we've got a few ingredients for this. Here's our first.

We have some PVA glue, the standard glue used in schools, some water, some borax - this is available from chemists. It starts as a powder. I've mixed it in this bottle with some water and then we've got some yellow food dye and something to stir it with, I'm using a lolly stick.

So first of all, we're going to take our PVA and a little bit of water. I'm going to use roughly equal amounts. We need to mix this up and make sure it's nice and regular.

Now, we're going to add our colour. Now, I know it looks orange but food dye does actually come out yellow. Don't worry.

So let's mix that in. As you can see, beautiful bright yellow. Now, we're going to get our borax, give it a good squirt and start to stir it, and as you can see, it starts immediately.

All you have to do is keep stirring. It takes roughly 30 seconds or so. Depending on how much borax you put in, the more borax you put in, then the stiffer it becomes.

Give it a good stir and you know it's going to be ready when all the water is being absorbed, all the liquids that we've got here, and we're just getting one lump. And here we are, we've got pretty much to that stage now. So, there you are, lovely yellow slime. .
