How To Make Your Hair Look Fuller

I'm going to give you a few tips on how to make your hair fuller. First of all, you need to use the correct shampoo and conditioner. You don't want to overload your scalp area with an over-nourishing conditioner as that will make the hair flat at the root.

So, it's a good idea to use a shampoo that's suitable for your scalp and then you use a conditioner that's suitable for your hair. As you're drying the hair, it would be a good idea to use a volumizing spray or a mousse and you put that into the hair, blast dry it to about 8% dry and then you go through and use a large round bristle brush and as you're drying the hair, you go as upward as you can and dry a little bit underneath to create volume at the root area and work up like that to get the volume in your hair. So now, I've finished blow drying the hair, I'm going to take sections about an inch thick and backcomb this area.

What I'm going to do is put the brush in and go right down to the scalp, take the brush out and you go right down to the scalp again. What you don't want to do is go up and down the hair shaft like that because all you do then is damage the hair and create knots in the hair. By doing it this way, you create volume at the roots and you won't create any knots in the hair and you just work up the hair shaft and if you wish, you can put a light spray in there depending on how big you want the hair, really.

We're just going to do a few more sections in the crown area. It doesn't really matter how this looks at the moment because we're going to comb over it and it will look nice and smooth. Let's get a larger brush and you can't see any of that bad brushing now which is great.

Spritz on a bit of serum or hairspray and you've got fuller hair. .
