How To Make Your Own Baby Slogan T-Shirt
Keep your kids ahead of the fashion pack by designing your own slogan T-shirt. This is extremely easy to do, as DIY clothing expert extraordinaire, Zoe Edwards, shows us.

The Design

Create your slogan on a computer and print out. To make it easier to work with we suggest you glue the paper to thicker card. Use a craft knife to cut out the design leaving you with a stencil. Remember a large font will be easier to work with and look more effective - and don't forget to put down a cutting mat to protect your table.

The t-shirt

Lay your T-shirt out on a flat surface. Place a strong piece of card inside to steady the fabric, and the prevent the paint from soaking through to the back. Find the center spot by measuring the width of the t-shirt with a tape measure and calculating the midpoint. Gently mark this with a pencil. Lay your homemade stencil in position and pin to hold it in place.

Get painting

Dip the paint brush in the paint and dab of any excess. Using a stippling motion to apply the paint. Keep going, using as many colours as you like until the design is covered. Zoe's going for a blended blue to green to purple effect. When your happy with your work leave the paint to dry.

Carefully remove the stencil - and the T-shirts good to go!
