- Total:
- 10m
Ingredients
- 140 g butter, at room temperature
- 280 g icing sugar
- 2 milk
Step 1: Add the Butter and Icing Sugar
Place the softened butter into the bowl of an electric mixer, then sift in the icing sugar and add a few spoonfuls of milk. Bring all the ingredients together with a spatula, then attach the bowl to the electric mixer.
Step 2: Mix the Frosting
Start mixing on a low speed until all the sugar has mixed with the butter, then turn the speed up and beat it until it is light and fluffy.
Step 3: Pipe the Icing
Cut the end off a disposable piping bag and put a nozzle into it. Turn the bag inside out and push some icing into the bottom. Squeeze the icing to the end of the bag, then pipe it onto your cupcakes, swirling from the outside in.
