Hello. I'm Phil, and I'm from John Lewis, Oxford Street, part of the Home department, and I'm going to show you how to make a Christmas napkin. Okay, first off, what you need to do is just choose a napkin, so it's going to be nice and red, quite appropriate for that time of year.

And then, just turn it gently, just roll it into a tube. Over here, you've got a selection of pre-made napkin rings, so they actually look quite sparkly and apt for Christmas, and some little nicknacks. So, you can just build it up, as you go along.

You can choose a place mat, which is sort of a die-cut thing that's quite appropriate for Christmas. It's quite nice. You can just wrap it straight around, gives it a little bit more texture and interest.

And on top of that, you can just do a nice little bow. Keep it simple. Always put your knot toward the back, so it's hidden.

Straighten it out a tiny bit. And then, you've got little things like this, you can just stick little tiny bits on the end. These actually match the ribbon, which is quite nice.

It's something simple and effective for Christmas, and will bring any Christmas lunch table to life, and only takes seconds to make. And that's how you make a Christmas napkin ring.
