Who uploaded this video and wrote the description? It's my video ... it was made for ESL students. It certainly doesn't "aim to show you how to make the perfect pesto sauce".

Thats enough garlic to kill a horse.

Never too much garlic! I like to use toasted walnuts in this sauce. I agree with everyone, where's the cheese? A must have and a key ingred.

This is NOT pesto!!! IMPOSSIBLE without parmigiano! And with that ladies voice, you fall asleep over your mixer! Oh Dio......

    Would appreciate measurements!

With pesto you really don't need measurements, this is not baking but can be up to the cooks taste. It does need a hard cheese thou, and I would never just throw the oil in but drizzle it until it is of the concistancy wanted. And yes by all means TOAST the pine nuts first. I will use the mini chopper when feeling lazy or in a rush, but prefer the taste achieved with the pestle and mortar. It is also good with some finely chopped sun dried tomatoes thrown in. A serving suggestion my sister does. Grilled tomato slice, with a slice of soft cheese, pesto drizzled over topped with a basil leaf. Yum!
