How To Make Your Own Wrapping Paper

Ever wanted to make your own wrapping paper? Well now you can. Arts and crafts expert Arona Khan shows us how. Making your own wrapping paper is easy now with Videojug's help.

Step 1: You will need

  • Christmas catalogues or magazines
  • A sheet of newspaper
  • Scissors
  • Pinking shears
  • Glue
  • Glitter glue

Step 2: Cut out pictures

Cut out Christmas themed photos form magazines or catalogues. You can trim the edges with pinking shears to add texture.

Step 3: Newspaper

Lay a sheet of newspaper on the table to protect the surface when gluing.

Step 4: Get stuck in

Overlap the pictures slightly and stick in place. It's best to decide on your design before sticking the pictures in place.

Step 5: Fill in the gaps

Cut out smaller pictures and use them to fill in any gaps in the paper.

Step 6: Glitter glue

If you are using pictures from catalogues, you can cover up any text with glitter glue.

Step 7: Wrap up

Use the finished paper to wrap a gift. You can find out how to do this by watching Videojug's films on gift wrapping.
