How To Manually Sync Your Zune

Step 1: Launch It

Launch the Zune Software by double-clicking the icon with your mouse.

Step 2: Connect It

Connect your Zune to your PC by plugging the larger end into the bottom of the Zune and the smaller end into your PC.

Step 3: The Uncheck

Right Click the name of your Zune on the left side of the screen. Choose the second to last item on the drop down menu which is "Set up Sync"

You will see the device setup window pop up. Make sure that the "Sync this Device Automatically" box is NOT checked

Step 4: Have It Your Way

Now you can create a list of items you want on your Zune by dragging them onto the empty space on the right hand side of the screen.
