Ingredients

  • 1 steak
  • 1 red pepper
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • dry white wine
  • cream

Method

To create the marinate, cut you red pepper up and put it in a measuring jug with a little olive oil and a touch of salt. Blend up with a stick blender until smooth.

Put your steak in a bowl and cover with the pepper marinade. Put it in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.

When you are ready to cook the steak, scrape off the red pepper to stop it burning in the frying pan. Put the steak in a bowl and add a little olive oil and salt.

Heat up a frying pan until it is hot and fry the steak.

To make a sauce, add a little white wine to the meat juices to degraze the pan. Then add the remaining red pepper mixture and a little cream. Bring to the boil, sieve and pour over your steak.
