Microwaves are very popular today. It's a great way of cooking food but they can get really, really messy. An easy way to clean them is by using simple things like vinegar and water, and you can alternatively use lemon juice from a fresh lemon.
So, what we do is, we pour about a quarter of a bottle into a microwave-safe container, mix that with water, and what we're going to do is pop that in the microwave. Bring it to near boiling point. What that will do is loosen all the food deposits.
As you can see in there, we've got a dirty microwave. Pop that pot in there. Do make sure that the pot actually fits your microwave.
You don't want something so big it won't turn round. We close the door there. Put that on, well, put that for about two minutes.
Set your microwave off. Depending on the power of your microwave depends how long you need to do it but two minutes is about our guide. What that's doing, that's heating up all the vinegar and water.
What you do is, once it has finished, you then leave it in there and all the steam will continue to loosen the dirt. You need to leave it about a half an hour. Go back to your microwave and it should all wipe off quite easily.
So, there we got the little pot there making some steam so we'll leave that in there about a half an hour to loosen all that food deposit. Then, we'll just wipe it round with a soft cloth, a soft damp cloth, and then dry it with a dry cloth. So, we'll leave that to do its magic.
We've now left that in the microwave steaming away for half an hour to loosen all the food debris. We're now going to have a go at cleaning it. Take the bowl out.
Be careful because it is hot now. Remove the turn plate and then we'll just dip our cloth in the solution and then, wipe away. As you can see, the food debris easily wiped it.
That's how you master cleaning your microwave. .
