In this video, I'm going to tell people who are beginners how to meditate. A lot of people, when they start meditating, find it very difficult to relax. Usually, this is a fear of not being able to come back into the real world.

If you have this fear, this worry, the best thing to do is set yourself a time and get yourself an alarm clock. No one is able to meditate perfectly on their first session. You do need to practice meditation.

My advice to you, if you would like to meditate and you're a beginner, is to buy a CD of guided meditations. To actually sit in complete silence and try and clear your mind is very difficult. It may be that you wish to follow Buddhist meditation, in which case, you would need to follow a mantra.

This is best done in a group situation. In fact, a lot of meditation is more powerful if you find yourself a meditation or development group to sit in. It builds up the energy and helps you practice.

Do be aware that if you're meditating, you need to be in a room or somewhere away from other people where you will not be disturbed. Also, don't forget to turn your phone off. Just make sure that you just allow yourself that allotted time for you and your own self to be peaceful and calm within yourself.

People worry about the head nodding or them dropping off to sleep in a meditation. This is quite common. I would always say to people, who never actually go to sleep because you're very aware of what's going on, if you're worried about this, just go with the flow.

You will come back in the room when the meditation is finished. The main thing is that you're comfortable and that you are willing to meditate. And that is how to meditate if you're a beginner. .
