You have to sew quite skillfully to actually close or mend a hole in your clothes so you cannot see the extra threads hanging out. Take the tips from this video.

In this video, I'm going to show you how to mend hole in clothes. To show you a simple tip of mending a midway hole, I will use an invisible silk which you can get in quite a few harbor shops. The reason for invisible silk is it's actually quite tough compared to cotton and also you won't really see it through the holes.

And so what we want to do is like, we want to go to the wrong side of the fabric and just taking the little loops of the knitwear structure and just slowly pulling through and gathering together and at the same time, just keep checking on the other side and then close that. And then just keep checking. You can see already we've closed up one small hole.

Now, I'll just do the rest. And there you have it, you can see the hole I've closed up and because we're using invisible silk, you can't actually see the threads coming through. And that's how you mend a hole on clothes. .
