I am going to show you how to mince garlic, which is very simple. I have just got a standard chef's knife here and then I am going to put the knife over the garlic and crush it. Now, that is crushed, I can start the mincing process.

Some can help me along just to give it a bit of bite by adding salt. All I am going to do now is just crush along. As you could see it, the longer you do it, the easier it gets.

And it is coming to the point where you can actually just spread it. There is your minced garlic. So, just do that one more time.

Just practice. You know, give it a good old whack at the back of the hand - pinch of salt and then keep smearing on, and something you might use this for is a stew or a casserole. You know, it's a perfect way of getting the best out of processor.

Nice bit of toast on a griddle pan and then rub a bit of minced garlic. It also works nicely if you get rolled meat before cooking it. Garlic does burn quickly when you are cooking in the oven.

This is just a good way of just using the flavor and rubbing the meat all over with the juice of the garlic. There we go. I am just going to put those minced garlic on here.

That's how you mince garlic. .
