How To Open Wine With An Ah So

If you have a bottle of wine with an old, fragile or broken cork, or if you just want to impress your friends, learn how to use an Ah So, or a pronged opener.

Step 1:

Remove The Foil

Remove the foil from the top of the wine using a foil cutter or the small knife on the top of your wine opener.

Step 2:

Insert The Prongs

Insert the prongs of the Ah So between the bottle neck and the cork, starting with the longer prong.

Step 3:

Remove The Cork

Wiggle the Ah So down around the cork until you can go no further. Grasp the handle of the Ah So and turn the cork while pulling up until it comes out of the bottle.
