How To Pack Away Your Traction Kite

Instructions to pack away your traction kite to stop you getting in a tangle.

Step 1:

Land Your Kite

Firstly land you kite, the right way up so that the leading edge is facing skywards. Make sure there are no twists in the lines.

Secure The Kite

Once the kite has landed, hold the handles in the break position and remove your kite killers. Keeping the kite breaked use your stake and put it through the loops on your handles to tie it to the ground.

Fold The Material

Grab the kite and pull it out of the wind, then stick your weights bag on one end to hold it down. Put the lines in the middle of the kite and then start folding the ends into the middle. Continue these folds until you have a thin strip of kite. Now roll up the kite and stick it in the bag.

Handles

Grab all four lines in one hand and wrap them around the handles. Tuck the last piece of line between the two handles to secure it in place. Now wind your kite killers around the handles, loop the wrist straps over the end and stick the whole lot in the bag.
