How To Paint A Brick Fireplace

My name is Tom. I work for Aspect maintenance. I am going to show you how we would paint a fireplace.

This one here has been painted already. If it hadn't, all you need to do is first prime any bare brick all ender again with the stabilizing solution. Once you have done that, it's then ready to paint.

And the paint you are gonna need to use is something that's specifically designed as a heat resistant paint. This one here is designed to be used within fire places, it's just a black matte finish. So, what he is doing here first of all, he is just dusting off the surface.

But to say, this one has already been painted before. So it's almost ready to repaint, just needs to be cleaned off. If it was, had any dust or dirt, then you need to take them off, the sand off with a sand paper first.

Once you have done that, you just need to get the appropriate paint. And away you go, black matte fireplace. And that is how you would always paint the inside of a fireplace.
