How To Paint An Architrave

The architrave is a bit of wood that surrounds the door frame. I'm going to show you how to paint that now. First of all, I'm going to lay the dust sheet closest to the wall as possible, so I don't get any paint on the carpet.

And because we're painting an architrave closest to the wall, I'm going to mask up the wall so that we don't get any paints on it. You want to paint on, not going towards the edge first. You're going to get much of the brush on it and push it into the edges with your brush afterwards so you get a nice tidy line.
