I'm going to show you how to paint this Warhammer figure. I've got a bit of brown color here which has been slightly watered down so I'm going to start off on the face and do the hands. With some of the Warhammer figures, there are armies and obviously they would all be wearing a uniform so you would do each color a uniform way, but with a figure like this which is just a unique figure, then you're pretty much free to do whatever color you like.

I've just put that flesh color onto the face, and I'm going to do the hands as well. If you're doing colors which are repeated over and over on the body, then you're best to do all those colors in one go otherwise you're going to end up with different styles. So if you're doing the flesh, do the flesh all in one go to remember how you've done it, so you do it the same every time so it looks uniform.

Basically, while that flesh is drying, you can go on with other colors. This figure has a little bit of armor on it here so I'll show you how to do that because it's quite a little technique. So, I'm basically going to take a black color and put that over an area.

I'm going to show you how to use the metallic paint with this. So, I've just painted this area black and I'm going to let that dry and I'll show you in that little area there, how to paint the metallic color on this, which would be used for chainmail armor. Basically, you don't want to use a good brush because this is a similar technique to the dry brushing so basically, you're taking a bit of this metallic silver color and getting the majority of it off the brush.

So, you can see if you paint on your finger, it's just literally highlighting so I'm going to drag the brush across that area there and it's highlighting the edges of the metallic chainmail but not going into the recesses. You wouldn't paint it all silver because it's just going to look like a big silver blob but that's showing the highlighted area there. That's how you would go about painting a Warhammer figure. .
