How To Perfom Trade Skills In EverQuest

Although creating items with magical properties in EverQuest seems like it would be confusing, it's surprisingly easy when you break it down. We asked James Adam Bell from the EverQuest design team to do just that. Trade Skills are one of the many fun activities that enrich this epic video game.
-
Step 1:
-
Learn How To Cook
-
To do trade skills in Everquest, first you must find the recipes that you want to work with. You can find these recipes from books, from NPCs or even some quests.
-
Step 2:
-
Put It In The Pot
-
Once you know the recipes, you'll have to find the items that you'll need to make the recipes. You can find these items from merchants within the game, from other players, or from NPCs in the game that you kill and then you take it from their corpse.
-
Step 3:
-
Contain Yourself
-
Once you have all of your items, you'll need a container. It can either be a container that you keep in your own inventory such as a tailoring kit or a world container like a forge.
-
Step 4:
-
Be Experimental
-
Anytime it's the first time you do a recipe, you'll have to experiment first. So, you'll click the experiment button, and manually put in the items. once they're all in, hit combine, and you have your new item.
-
Step 5:
-
Practice Makes Perfect
-
After you've learned the recipe, then you can go back to your normal mode of the container and search for your recipe. When you find your recipe, you simply click on it. Once you click on it, you'll be shown what's needed to make the recipe. If it's highlighted in green, it means you have the items. If anything is highlighted in red, you don't have the item and you'll need to go find it before you make it.
