How To Perform An Easy To Do Magic Trick

Step 1: Set Up The Trick

I call this trick "bank robbers" and you just need to make up your own story about a policeman, a bank, and two bank robbers.

For this you need a thin rubber band, a five, ten, or twenty pound note, and two large paper clips.

Step 2: Prepare The Notes

And as you tell the story you just fold the note in a half like this, this makes it tough and less likely to tear.
You do a zig-zag fold like so, leaving two little taps for you to hold.

Step 3: Enter The Policeman

The rubber band (the policeman) he enters the bank like so.You place him on the fold facing the spectator.

Step 4: Enter The Robbers

The two bank robbers decide to trap PC Plod, our policeman, in the center there. You take one of the paper clips and you clip the front fold to the middle fold, like so. And if you'll look down here, you can see that you can also clip the middle fold to the back fold on th other side of the rubber band.

Step 5: Perform The Arrest

The PC Plod is trapped, and the bank robbers, they get impatient and they just decide to leg it. And for PC Plod to capture the bank robbers. All you have to do is just pull sharply on the note like this. So you just hold the two taps and you just have to pull sharply apart like this.
