Now let's see what just happened here. There's no real magic to it; all the materials used are ordinary objects, but if you take an ordinary plastic pen and you rub it in some cloth, for instance your shirt - wool is the best, but any fabric will do - you can create static electricity.

And when you have charged and ordinary pen with static electricity, the match will react to the pen and follow it around the glass. That way you can make the match move.
