Hi. My name's Amy, and I'm a wedding and event planner. I have planned events, mainly specializing in weddings.

However, I have planned events from Christmas to corporate, and I'm going to give you some tips that I hope will help you to plan events in the future. Hi. I'm going to talk to you about how to plan a sleepover.

The first thing that you need to organize is which room that you're going to have everyone sleeping in, as this will depend on how many people that you can invite. Most sleepovers are same sex, which is normally the best idea, but it doesn't necessarily have to be just for girls. You can organize this for boys as well, but obviously more focus on PlayStation games and interactive games rather than pampering and nail treatments.

You need to make space in the room for everyone to sleep in and make sure that you organize for the children to bring sleeping bags, pillows, overnight bags, as well as pajamas for them to stay in. You will maybe want to organize games and things for the kids to do while they are going to be around at your house. You want to organize for DVDs for them to watch, but the best idea is to stay away from scary movies.

You want to make sure that the children are going to sleep and not have nightmares. Food-wise, it would be a good idea to do things like pizzas, things like sweets, and crisps, things that people can just pick at. You want to make sure that you have parents' permission for children coming around, but also make sure that you've got the contact details of each parent, in case you need to contact them.

It would be a wise idea to speak to each parent, and make sure that their children don't have any special dietary requirements, or any health issues that you need to know out, such as asthma, just to make sure that you're prepared for that, and you've got everything that you need in case something were to happen. Obviously, organizing something like a sleepover is a lot cheaper than organizing a party outside, so this is quite a good way to organize something on a lower budget. You need to make sure that the event is supervised and that you know what the children are doing.

You will need to also organize a bed time. Children will always try and fight against this, but you need to make sure that they do go to sleep, or else they're going to be very grumpy children in the morning. I hope this has helped in planning a sleepover. .
