Hi, my name is John Webb. I have been coaching for badminton for over 15 years. Now, I am going to share some tips on how to play badminton.
I am going to train you how to play badminton defence. We play defence. We, in singles or in doubles.
Coming to defence in badminton doubles is often lifting, and shots which go high, so in badminton defence position, you will be in the middle of the court, racket up and slightly crunching down with knee base waiting to smash in the lower smash or forwards, can pick up a smash or something coming down. You can be in the middle of the court and your partner playing in the other side of court. So you both play side by side, and blocking any smash and quickly picking up to any position.
More advance level of badminton defence is converting the badminton defence to badminton attack which is the basic idea on badminton defence, being attacked, smash. .
