Hello, I am Rene Millman, I am the editor of Absolute Gadget, the gaming and gadget's news website. Today, I am going to be talking to you about how to get the most out of your Wii console. In this video, we'll be showing you how to play Mario Kart on the Wii.
Here's the disc and here's the box, take the disc out of the box, put it in, and while we are waiting for that to happen, we can use the Wii wheal and the Wii mote. The game uses the motion center in the Wii to steer the car around the track. And we will use this 1 or 2 button to break and accelerate and the D-pad to use items.
You'll see on the back there's a B button but that doesn't actually get used. So the best thing to do is start on how to play the game. Press the A button, press it again, select the player, and just move the Wii mote until you get on the play you want to play and press the A button.
On this one, we'll just show you how to play as a single player, so a game point the Wii mode at the screen and when you're over the single player, press the A button. And you can choose from four of these, we are going to choose for the Grand Prix option and we're going to go for the 50cc Karts only option up here, or you can up for 100 cc Bikes Only and 150cc Karts and Bikes. But, we'll just go to the beginner's game.
And you can choose a character, this time we're going to choose Mario. Indeed. And you've got a choice of three different vehicles to choose, I'm going to go for the Standard Kart and automatic.
We're going for the mushroom cup and click on OK using the A button. So yeah, all we need to do now is steer by moving it as you would normally steer to run a car, and using the 1 or 2 button to accelerate and break and use the D-pad to choose an item. A little bit slower at the start then, trying to get nice, racing line, obviously this game is a little bit mad.
And trying to stay off the grass verges, otherwise you won't be slow. As you go around the track, you'll see these little cubes with question marks on there and you have to pick them up. And you'll also have to avoid the people and the enemies on the track.
Oops, so again, we're being squirted on the kart to see what we're doing, never mind, we will do the best we can, we'll pick up another one of these. So, on the beginner's, this is quite easy to come first. Obviously, when you get up to the expert's levels, it gets harder and harder.
And of course, you can play this game with your mates as well. And that's just a few tips on how to play Mario Kart on the Wii. .
