How To Play Music On Psp

Watch this Videojug video to get a step-by-step guide on playing music on your PSP. It clearly walks you through the external volume controls, buttons and the menus on the screen. Mp3's and wav file formats are supported.

In this video, I'm going to show how to play music on your PSP. Okay, so the first thing you need to do is switch on your PSP and wait for the menu to load. There you go.

Now, because we're going to be playing music, you need to change the volume controls, so the button for decreasing the volume is down here, and going up, so up and down, full. And you need to move down the settings down to where you have downloaded music onto the memory stick which will be the music folder. Click X and then you've got your tracks over here.

It supports mp3's and wav files. So, you press X to run the tune and you can hear it. Listen.

Now, you can do a lot of things with the mp3, with the music files. You can fast forward, rewind and you can change the equaliser by pressing square, and a menu comes down at the bottom, and you can change and see them live, and there's quite a few. Then, you can just put random and it will flip through them.

And if you press triangle, you have a visual representation of the menu. So, you can shuffle, repeat, AB repeat, so repeating between two songs, group mode, visual player, sleep timer, so if you want to listen to music before you want to go to sleep, you put it on for like five minutes, start listening and by the time you fall asleep, it will switch itself off, and there's the standard options for track control - pause, play, stop. And that's it.

And that's how you play music on your PSP.
