How To Play Wii Basketball

Hey, I'm Ross. I'm the Nintendo specialist here at game head office. And I'm here today to show you how to play basketball on Wii Sports Resort on Wii.

Ok, first of all I've connected my Wii Motion Plus to my Wii controller. Obviously needed this and calibrated it by just placing it on the floor before Wii Sports Resort. Wii Sports Resort is loaded up and select basketball.

You then have the three-point contest, which is available. And the idea is to score as many points as you can within the time in the net. So again up to four players can play this.

I'm going to play today just on my own and demonstrate one player. Select the Miicharacter and whether you are left- or right-handed. I'm right-handed, so I will select that.

And we are ready to go. Ok, so away we go. So again, very similar to how you would actually play basketball.

Press Ato start. Pressing B will take the ball. Pick it up and then you will want to swing the remote in a quick motion over your head which will then get the character to jump and you then press, let go of the “B” button to release the ball.

Let's see how we do. Not very well. It's as if you are throwing a basketball a bit too hard.

It's all about the timing. There we go. That's better.

Get a nice action going. Get into a bit of a swing and motion. Not too bad.

All about the timing of it though. Ten more balls to go. That's the one I need.
