I agree with whoever said conversation should flow and you can't really prepare. If you can't even make conversation with them then you really shouldn't be going out with them to be honest.... The best thing to do is be yourself and ask lots of questions, or bring up an ongoing joke the two of you have. Make him laugh, or laugh with him. I tried it on a boy friend and we are now dating. It's good to see that these so called realtionship experts has gone from total crap to some truth.. If you are going on a date there is nothing to think about because the two people going already decided to go on a date together aka they like eachother and will have sex if they don't f**k up. Just be yourself, wear whatever fits the occation and don't worry so much and go with the flow.

It's better to be well versed in history and geography, Arts etc as this gives a context you can rely on as a base to conversation. Guys..arrive way BEFORE your date, that way you can recce the toilets/facilities and establish a rapport with the staff which will make things easier for you. Eat a heavy meal before you go so it will act as a buffer for the drink, if you're eating there, have a very light snack.
