How To Prepare Shrimp
Step 1: You will need:
- 1 shrimp
- 1 cutting board
- 1 pair of scissors
- paper towel
Step 2: Peel the shrimp
Begin by twisting off the head. Next, using the scissors, cut along the spine from the head to the tail, peel away the shell with your hands and gently pull the tail off.
Step 3: Remove the vein
Look for the intestine, which is the dark vein that runs through the middle of the back. Carefully peel it away and wipe it onto the paper towel. Don't discard the head and tail. They add a great flavour to stocks and soups!
Step 4: Use as needed
Your shrimp is now ready to be used in whatever dish you choose. Keep it covered and store in the fridge for 1-2 days if necessary.

No wonder your comment is anonymous... the shears prepared the back precisely for removal of the vein. The only thing I do extra is remove the intestine as well. Besides; the plural of srimp is not shrimps... it is shrimp. Unless you have differenti varieties of shrimp.
