Step 1: Clean start

Use a spray nozzle to blast your wheels and undercarriage. Use a gentle soap to clean the exterior, always washing from top to bottom. Rinse with a normal hose flow, then dry.

Step 2: Be cool

Check radiator reservoir, making sure it is half full. Add coolant or antifreeze to half full.

Step 3: Chill out

Make sure air conditioning is functioning properly.

Step 4: Don't tread on me

If you've been driving on snow tires, replace them with summer tires for better handling and improved gas mileage.

Step 5: Belts and hoses

Make sure hoses and connections are solid.

    Whoa! Take a lot more care not to spill anti-freeze than the video shows. Anti-freeze is poisonous and unfortunately pets and sometimes children die from ingesting spilled anti-freeze.
