This video is for those of you who want to know how to prevent black heads. Now blackheads, whiteheads, spots, and pimples they are all very distressing now if you do suffer from spots t can really impact on your self esteem and self confidence. Now, unfortunately there is not a great deal you can do to prevent spots or blackheads because often they are due to your genetics, your underlying skin type, your hormones and the accumulation of oils and bacteria but there are a few things that you can do that will hopefully reduce your risk if you are prone to blackheads.
So the first thing that I would suggest is to make sure that you wash all of your hand towels and facial towels and pillows regularly. Before going to bed at night if you have long hair make sure you tie it back away from your face because this will obviously prevent any greasy hair from going into your face at night. If you wear makeup then make sure you wash it off before you go to bed and if you're going to buy foundation then try to use a water base foundation rather than an oil based foundation.
if you use makeup brushes regularly make sure you wash them and don't share makeup with your friends because this will probably transfer bacteria from one person's skin to another. Now what about washing? People who have spots try to wash them a lot, try to cleanse their skin. I think it's important not to over wash your face because this will dry out your skin and it might possibly irritate existing spots.
However, if you're exercising a lot, it is important to get in the shower quickly because sweating on the skin in combination with your skin oils might encourage the accumulation of bacteria so do wash quickly after exercise. Well, what about your diet? Well unfortunately you cannot really prevent spots by eating healthy but if you drink a lot of water and a diet rich in vitamins and minerals, fresh fruit and vegetables then this is going to be great in hydrating your skin and helping the regeneration of your skin.
