This video is all about how to terat constipation. Learn how to prevent, treat and why constipation occurs in the first place.
This video is for those of you who want to know how to prevent constipation. Now, I think with constipation prevention is really better than cure because once you get constipated regularly it can dilate your bowel loops and give you a viscous cycle of constipation so we need to make sure that your bowel motion are nice and regular from the get go. So what's one of the best advice to avoid constipation, well my number one tip is to drink plenty of fluids especially water.
Water is great for the bowels because it can be directly absorbed and help to give you nice, soft bowel motions. Having lots of roughage in your diet will also be a good idea. Fruits and vegetables are a fantastic choice for maintaining a healthy digestive tract.
They're a natural form of roughage and they will help you to have nice, regular bowel motions as well. Regular exercise would be good for your overall body functioning and it will also help to get your bowels moving and another piece of advice would be to have breakfast every morning because this hopefully will stimulate your bowel motions. So is there anything else that you can do to prevent constipation? One thing I would say is please don't ignore the urge to pass motions.
I know it can be embarrassing if you're going o be in a public place to use the public toilets but please don't ignore the urge because everybody does it and if you hold it in it is more likely to lead to constipation problems in the future. Another thing to point out is that things like hemorrhoids or anal fissures which are your cuts to the anus can contribute to constipation because if you have pain when you pass motions and are reluctant to pass motions then this can lead to constipation over time. Equally if you become constipated and you're trying to pass hard stools then it is going to make hemorrhoids or anal fissures worst so make sure you get this treated and take a laxative if necessary so that your poo stays nice and soft and you don't aggravate these medical problems.
Good luck and I wish you a happy and healthy digestive tract.
