How To Put Video On YouTube

In this video, I am going to show you how to put a movie on YouTube. So, first thing is that you need to make sure you have a YouTube account. Make sure you are either logged in, or if you do not have an account, sign up for one.

It only takes a couple of minutes to sign up and it does not cost any money. Once you are into your YouTube account, click on the upload button, and then you will have a few options. You can select files from your computer.

If you have multiple files, you can select those. You can go to your webcam and actually record a video of yourself. Once you are in the upload section, you will see a pop-up box telling you to choose a video from the desktop of your computer.

Ensure that the file is one of the files supported by YouTube. There are quite a number of file formats supported, and if you go to YouTube's help section, you will be able to see how to do that, but some of the formats include dot mov, mpg, mp4, and windows media files, wmv. Once you upload, click on the file, choose the upload, it will start the upload process, and then there will be a few boxes to fill in.

One is the title and the description, and that should include as much information as possible about your video. Put in some tags to talk about the different keywords that relate to it. So if it is a family video, or if it is a birthday party, say a 40th birthday party, put in the tags relevant to that.

Finally, when you have done that, ensure that you select the privacy level. Now, it might be quite sensitive information. It might be a video of your children, which you do not want the general public having access to, in which case, you can select the video as being unlisted which means that only someone that has the link to that video will be able to view it, or you can make the video totally private which means that only somebody that has got access granted by you will be able to see that video.

Then once you have clicked on save, you will then have an option to upload more, yet more videos. You can actually upload several videos concurrently. And that is how to put a video on YouTube. .
