Hi, I'm Nikki Moore, technology writer and presenter and I'm going to give you some tips on iPads and iPhones.

I'm going to tell you how to restore an app if you delete it by mistake. I've installed angry birds, and I'm now going to delete it by pressing on it.

The cross appears, we hit the cross, we delete the app, remove, and the app is now deleted. Now we are going to go and try to retrieve it from the app store.

So I click on app store.

I go to angry birds, I start install, and its now installing it but its not prompting me to pay for it, because it already knows that I paid earlier on. I've deleted the app, gone into the app-store to re-install it and the second time it knew that I have already bought it. So it didn't prompt me for the payment information.

The app is then downloaded onto the desk top and ready for me to use. And that's how to restore a deleted app.
