How To Recover Deleted Files From Recycle Bin
Ever deleted a file on your computer by accident and thought it was lost forever? Worry no more, this video will show you how you can restore those items in a matter of seconds.
Today, I'm going to show you how to recover files from the recycle bin. When you delete something in Windows, it doesn't get wiped out forever; it goes into a holding bay called the Recycle Bin. Fortunately, that's there so you can in and grab those files back again if you've ever deleted by accident.
On all computers, there will be a file on the desktop called Recycle Bin, and this is where your files go when their accidentally deleted. Just to give you an example, what we'll do is delete this icon here. Are you sure you want to move it? Yes.
So, there we go, it looks like we've deleted that file and what we're going to do is go and recover that from the recycle bin. So, we'll go into recycle bin by double-clicking, and you can see that there are 3 files there; one which is called "do not delete" and this "QuickTime player" which was one we just deleted as well. So, what we can do is either restore all items by just clicking that button here, or you can right-click on a particular file and go "restore", and let's do the one we just deleted.
Right click and restore and you'll see that those 2 files have now come out again, out of the bin. Be careful though, don't press the "empty recycle bin", because anything that you put in there, which was as a holding bay, that will now delete from the recycle bin and you may not be able to get it back again. I've just shown you how to recover files from the recycle bin.
Do make sure though that you back up all your files because sometimes, if the recycle bin is full, it will start to overwrite the files that were deleted at the earliest point. And that's how to recover files from the recycle bin. .
