How To Remove Ear Wax
In this video GP and health writer Dr Ellie Cannon talks you through a number of different treatments available to treat an ear wax build up.
- Start by using ear drops. To use them apply 2-3 drops to the ear and lie on your side until it has sunk in. Repeat a few times a day for a week.
- If they are still blocked after trying drops, your GP will offer you ear syringing.
- Do not try and remove the wax with cotton buds, as this can make it worse by impacting the wax and pushing it further into the ear canal.
