How To Remove Glitter Nail Polish
Glitter nail polish is notoriously difficult to remove. In this easy to follow guide, nail artist Metta Phommavongsa from Nails By Mets shows you an excellent trick to removing glittery nail polish.
You Will Need
- lint free wipe
- aluminium foil
- nail polish remover
- cuticle oil (optional)
Top Tips
- Soak the lint free wipe in nail varnish remover and press it onto the nail, being careful not to touch too much of the skin. Use cuticle oil around the edges of your nail if you want extra protection for this delicate skin.
- By wrapping the tinfoil around your finger you can leave the nail varnish remover on longer to get in and under the glitter to make it easier to remove.
- Once you have left it on for 10 minutes you can check and see how well the nail varnish remover has done by gently wiping the nail with the lint free wipe. If it seems that it could do with a little longer, just wrap the foil back around the finger and wait another five or even ten minutes. If just a little bit of glitter is left on the nail, you can use a nail buffer to gently buff the rest away.
