Step 1: Cover Surrounding Area

Protect all furniture, flooring and surrounding areas, and ensure use of protection eye wear and gloves.

Step 2: Remove Loose Paint

First, remove any loose or flaking paint by smoothing down with sand paper.

Step 3: Liquid Sanding

Then, apply Polycell Liquid Sanding with a brush or cloth using a firm, circular motion.

Step 4: Wipe

Ensure the whole area to be repainted is covered evenly, then wipe off with a damp cloth.

Step 5: Fill Gaps

Next, use Polycell Fine Surface Polyfilla to fill the gaps. Smooth to an even finish with the knife.

Step 6: Dry

Allow to dry.

Step 7: Sand

Give a light sanding and you've a perfect surface that's already keyed and ready to paint over with your choice of gloss paint.
