Step 1: Opening the Garmin StreetPilot c550
Begin by using the plastic shim too to remove the silver colored front faceplate.. Then remove the revealed four screws using the Phillips screwdriver provided in your kit from NewPower99.com . Open the case and unplug the existing battery’s connector. Be sure to observe and make note of the positioning of the wires.
Step 2: Removing the Original Garmin Street Pilot c550 Battery
Insert the extended life battery from Newpower99.com in the same position and orientation as the removed battery was found. Replace the 2 screws to secure the battery to the Garmin. Solder the leads to the Garmin in the same positions as the original
Step 3: Install the Replacement Battery in the Garmin StreetPilot c550
