Fantastic! I have 2 IRiver H340's. Store gave me the 2nd cause the 1st wouldn't hold a charge. Then the 2nd was dying. Many years of good service but fully charged would only go for 2 hrs. Found this video and SOOOO happy. I got 2 batteries from batterybuyer.com in Ontario (Model #CS-H110XL ($21.99 each)). Great service - helpful telephone people. Delivered via Canada Post in about 5 days and work great. (both batteries and postage only $56 CDN). Both installed and yippee - I now have 2 fully functional Irivers. Can't get better than that. Thanks for this video. Tools I used were tiny screwdriver from eyeglass fixing kit ($1 at the dollar store for whole kit) and tupperware orange peeler (flat end) (see http://www.oztion.com.au/public/promo/nov05/hamper/pics/8.jpg). But with some patience you don't need the blue tool in the video or the orange peeler, just work cover loose yourself. Note: The blue rubber stuff is glued down in parts so you have to patiently work it loose. PS: I had to remove the 4 sticky black pads from the old battery and restick in the corners of the new battery to hold it in place. This is not shown in the video but when you open the Iriver and turn over the old battery you'll see them. AGAIN THANKS FOR THIS GREAT VIDEO! I'd have never tackled changing these batteries without it.

i have an iriver ihp120, can i expect the procedure to be the same? has anyone had success replacing the battery on that model? has anyone ordered a battery from batterygallery on ebay?

Expected replacement to be much easier - used tools to take H320 apart but couldn't work it out! My daughter suggested looking on the internet so - good old Google - found this site - followed the video - absolutely brilliant and everything works - new battery even had 2 bars of charge : )

This video is the difference between even thinking about doing this, and not! Excellent in that score and anyone who takes more than 30 mins is a fool and has missed something! I found one of my case screws did not seat properly, despite taking case off and doing it again - otherwise it went like a dream - like the video does. The new battery (2300mah) which I had high hopes of was not as genius as I thought - I bought it off HK Ebay store Total Power Solutions and although incl. delivery it was relatively cheap (about $23 Aust. all up) it won't win the endurance tests I was hoping. The old one replaced prob. only had 3-4 hrs in it after 4 yrs and when it got to 1 bar dropped really quick - the new one does prob. 7hrs tops so is hardly a 12-15hr monster like I hoped. Better than forking out for a new HDD player (sorry it has to be Ipod now as Iriver only does flash now). Don't throw it away - change the battery - but the new one was not the grunty upgrade I was hoping for. Oh well should last another couple of years anyway - by which time we will be bluetoothing from outer space or something!

The highest capacity of the same battery I found on megacapacity.com for 21.99 and it came with screw driver and plastic tool, if interested I have provided the link below: http://www.megacapacity.com/706.html
