How To Replace The Battery On The Creative Zen Vision: M

Step 1: Leverage The Plate
Replacing your battery is fairly easy. First, you need a small flathead screwdriver and starting at the bottom you need to use leverage to pop off the small plastic plate. Next, you need to take a small phillips head screwdriver and unscrew the two screws at the bottom.
Step 2: Unscrew The Screws
Next we need to move to the top. We pretty much do the same thing, taking off the small plastic plate, then removing the small plastic piece that controls the on switch, and finally unscrewing the two phillips head screws.
Step 3: Separate The Halves
Once you have done this, you need to take a pry tool and run it along the edges until you can pry apart the two halves of the creative zen vision: m. When you split the halves open be careful because the battery cable runs between the two halves.
Step 4: Battery Cable
Just lay it down flat gently and then start unplugging the battery cable. Once the battery has been unplugged you will need to use a pry tool and run it along the edges of the battery to get it unstuck. It has two sticky strips attached to the battery. You may actually want to remove these and put them on the new battery from infinitybatteries.com so it can stick back down to the casing. To save time we won't do that here. Instead we are just going to go right to the next step and plug in the new battery.
Step 5: Connect The Halves
Finally, you just need to put the two halves back together again - snapping them tightly shut. We'll stop here, but all you have left to do is put back the screws and the small plastic pieces and you'll be finished.
